Skilled Recognised Graduate Visa (Subclass 476)

The Skilled Recognised Graduate Visa (Subclass 476) is for recent engineering graduates of recognised institutions to gain up to 18 months of skilled work experience.

How can you qualify for the 476 visa?

To qualify for the subclass 476, you must:

be under 31 years of age
have completed an engineering degree at a recognised institution in the past two years
not have been the primary visa holder of a subclass 476 or 485 visa
have the required English language ability
meet health and character requirements.

What are the costs associated with applying for the 476 visa?

Department of Home Affairs (DHA) Visa Application fees – $465 (for the primary applicant), $230 (for each secondary applicant over 18), $115 (for each secondary applicant under 18)
IELTS or PTE Academic – IELTS $340 + $34 (GST if applicable) or PTE $340
Medical Examination fees – as applicable
Police Clearance Certificate – as applicable
Translations/Certifications – as applicable
Credit card processing fees for DHA – as applicable

You should allow at least AU$1,000 for a single applicant and at least AU$2,000 – for a family of four (two adults and two children) excluding our fees.

How long does the 476 visa process take?
