South Australia Offshore Skilled Occupation List

Offshore applicants in specific trade and health occupations may be eligible to apply under the SA skilled migration program (2021-22). Applicants will have to submit a Registration of Interest application if they meet the requirements for their occupation. The online application system for new submissions will be available from 8 am Tuesday 20 July 2021. 

The 36 skills eligible for offshore ROI is as below:

To manage South Australia’s COVID recovery response, an additional 70 occupations will be open to applicants currently residing offshore from Tuesday 28 September 2021.

Latest Additions

To manage South Australia’s COVID recovery response, an additional 24 Engineering occupations will be open to applicants currently residing offshore from Tuesday 2 November 2021.

The minimum requirements for state nomination for these occupations include:

• You must have at least eight years work experience in the nominated or closely related occupation
• You must demonstrate a Superior English level unless you hold an eligible passport from a country where the primary language is English (the United Kingdom, the United States of America, New Zealand, Ireland, and Canada)
• You must score at least 85 points for the Skilled Work Regional visa (subclass 491) in the Department of Home Affairs points test.

South Australia is now open to Registrations of Interest from offshore applicants in a further 259 occupations on the State’s Skilled Occupation List.
