The Global Talent Independent program (GTI Visa) was launched on 4 November 2019. This is a streamlined, priority visa pathway for highly skilled individuals who want to work and live permanently in Australia. The program is designed to strengthen Australia’s ability to compete for the world’s best and brightest skilled migrants and grow Australian businesses of the future. Additionally, eligible family members can be included in the application. To be able to submit a valid application for this visa you need to register your interest with the Department of Home Affairs and be invited to apply.
If you are invited to apply for the GTI visa, you will be given a unique Global Talent identifier to submit your online application for the Distinguished Talent Visa (Subclass 858).
The Global Talent Independent program is a fast-track visa program hence processing times will be a lot faster than other general skilled visas. For current visa processing times please refer to the information on the Department of Home Affairs website.
Our service packages are designed to give clients choice in terms of fees and the level of service. Our fees are fixed. However, they do not cover the visa application fees and other costs involved in submitting a visa application. We have outlined the fees that are most likely to be incurred in Australian Dollars. The fees quoted below are for general skilled visa applications (Subclass 189/190/491) visas. Fees can increase without notice, so the fees can vary at the time of application.
You should allow at least AU$5,000 – AU$6,000 for a single applicant and at least AU$9,000 – AU$10,000 for a family of four (two adults and two children) excluding our fees.
